Hullabaloo: Girls just wanna have fun!

I received a message in facebook from my friend (Angelique) that her friend (Ruby) will come to visit us and explore Abu Dhabi. Actually, her friend is my barkada’s friend that only me didn’t know her at all. It was just so funny that we have common friends and yet she don’t know me and I to her as well.

As Angelique planned for the best summer of the year, we were too excited and we can’t even sleep early.

The Itinerary: Yas Waterworld & Ferrari World – In 1 day

  • 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. – Yas Waterworld
  • 3 P.M. to 8 P.M.    – Ferrari World

Thursday evening we planned to wake up Friday morning as early as possible so we can take shower and eat breakfast and put make up and leave the flat early, but well, it was just a plan we didn’t take it seriously at all. hahahaha  🙂 From the City to Yas Island it will take 30 mins by taxi but if you will ride bus it’ll take 45 mins – 1 hour.

I already tried most of the slides last December 2015 with my cousins and I am more excited not for my self but for my girls. hahahaha

Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi is a water park in the United Arab Emirates, located on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. The park is home to 45 rides, slides and attractions – five of which are world-firsts, including Bubble’s Barrel, a Flow Barrel 10 Double Sheet Wave ride, and Dawwama, a hydro magnetic-powered 6-person tornado water slide.

The park is set across 15 hectares of land and has received wide industry acclaim, including being named as the first waterpark in the Middle East to be certified with the Estidama One Pearl green sustainability rating.

The park pays tribute to the Emirati heritage of pearl diving through a unique theme, ‘The Legend of the Lost Pearl’, which is reflected in the water park’s design and each of the water park’s rides and attractions.

We had a blast from big to small slides. Actually, I was the one who enjoyed most because I almost tried all slides. My friends were a bit scared of the other slides.

From Yas Waterworld to Ferrari World. ADRENALINE RUSH, now we’re talking.

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is an amusement park located on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It is the first and only Ferrari-branded theme park and has the record for the largest space frame structure ever built.

Formula Rossa, the world’s fastest roller coaster, is also located here.

The foundation stone for the park was laid on 3 November 2007. It took three years to develop the park and it officially opened to the public on 4 November 2010. Ferrari World Abu Dhabi covers an area of 86,000 square meters. Ferrari World Abu Dhabi was named the “Middle East’s Leading Tourist Attraction” at the World Travel Awards 2015.

We queued for 1 hour and it was a tiring moment for us but we realized “worth the wait” really does exist. This ride is the true definition of adrenaline rush and thrill.

Fiorano GT ChallengeFioranoGTStation

Fiorano GT Challenge is a steel dueling roller coaster at Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The roller coaster features two, 1.08-kilometer (0.67 mi) tracks, each of which has four LSM launches and four magnetic brake sections, immersing passengers into the twisting, head-to-head varying speeds and accelerations of GT racing. Power for the ride system is provided via two flywheel motor generator sets, isolating the surge requirements of the launches from the electrical grid. The trains’ 3 cars have been modeled after the styling of Ferrari F430 Spiders.

Viaggio in Italiaimg_3957

Viaggio in Italia takes guests on a flight over Venice, Tuscany, Lago Maggiore, Rome and other recognizable areas of Italy. The arms are raised up to 14.5 metres into the air, with hydraulic technology being used to enable them to move during the “flight”.

We also tried 4D-Speed of Magic and Driving with the Champions.

We don’t have enough time to try all the available rides at that moment. Formula Rossa was under maintenance for the whole month. We still enjoy the rides specially Flying Aces.

  1. I couldnt be any prouder ‘barkada’ here!! You are just brilliant Den! Thumbs up and keep writing. This is my frustration, I really wanna do this but until now its not happening. You encouraged me to put an effort to it too and make it happen. Hope to make my own too, soon. Cheers!
